Today, my Lord, stretch out your hand from your cross and lift me up to you.
- Thy counsel guides me and leads me to thy glory, so that I may cling to thee with an eternal covenant.
- And fill me with love and light and reveal to me the eternal things that are not seen.
- And heal me with your wounds and hear me your voice, so I follow you and live with you in your pastures.
- And teach me how to pray to you with all my heart, senses, thoughts and feelings.
- And fill me with your humility and meekness, so I find comfort for myself.
- And purify my heart and conscience to be without a stumbling block in front of you and in front of everyone.
- And fill my heart with the treasures of your love and your image and what does not occur to the heart of human beings.
- And grant me true repentance for a time when I am lazy and wake up from my sleeplessness.
